Exciting new Bid Team Manager opportunity based in Birmingham. In this role you will be leading the bid function and line managing 3 direct reports. This is a critical role for the business where you will be overseeing the end-to-end bid process, from identifying opportunities, formulating effective strategies for the bidding process , managing resource and, adopting technology to submitting winning proposals.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement bid management strategies that align with the company’s goals to increase win rates and drive revenue growth.
• Lead a team of bid professionals, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
• Manage resources and timelines to ensure on-time and high-quality proposal submissions.
• Ensuring compliance with client’s requirements, regulations and industry standards.
• Internal Stakeholder Management and Collaboration.
• Collaborating with Subject Matter Experts to enrich / inform Quality/Technical elements of the bid.
• Maintaining comprehensive and accurate bid documentation, including bid files records of communication and pricing information, and keeping an up-to-date bid library.
• Lead on the development and implementation of digital technologies and A.I. to support with the bidding process (e.g., Generative A.I., digital cost modelling tools).
• Monitoring and evaluating bid performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
