Profile As an experienced strategic leader in 'social impact' initiatives, this Associate is passionate about helping Businesses, Community Organisations, Social Enterprises and Charities access funding for social good and just as keen to support organisations articulate and implement their Social Value strategies and objectives. Having unique career experience as both a professional Bid Writer and Commissioner of large-scale Public Funds, their objective is to assist organisations achieve their goals through accessing Public Funding and winning tenders. Key Achievements Bid win-rate of 73%. Secured funding for clients from The National Lottery, UK Shared Prosperity Funding, Adult Education Budget, Multiple Mayoral Combined Authorities, Comic Relief, Children in Need, The Police Federation and various Local Authorities and Grant Trusts. Assisted clients in cost saving exercises amounting to over £350k in 2023. Devised, implemented and delivered Construction 'Skills Bootcamp' pilots on behalf of DfE. Following successful 'proof of concept' these were later rolled out nationally. Experience Over 20 years of experience assisting UK-based organisations to access Public Funding. Working with large Local Authorities securing over £70m from Government Departments or the EU. Assisting Training Providers to access contracts for AEB, Apprenticeships, or Skills Bootcamps. Helping Charities with strategy and gaining Grants to escalate their mission objectives. Collaborating with Community and Third Sector Organisations to obtain funding for either standalone projects or forward planning strategy alignment to local or national funding priorities.
