Profile This Associates career began with an award-winning craft apprenticeship in plumbing progressing into the estimating department of a national multi-service MEP contractor. The combination of this experience allowed them to utilise the benefits of practical knowledge while applying the support and management skills leading bid teams to complete multi-service tender deliverables. Led a wide range of tender processes from domestic competitive bids to major two stage schemes, involving negation and interaction with the wider client professional teams including stakeholder mediation through excellent verbal and written communication skills. Led teams and developed strategies to mitigate risk while securing a wide range of successful bids including negotiated tenders and schemes obtained through construction frameworks. Implemented the quality assured methods to generate bids, develop cost plans and associated strategies, while leading and assisting the implementation of the process. Proven record in finalising submission deliverables whilst adhering to strict client timeframes. Key Achievements Led MEP tender packages of key opportunities for an international Engineering Enterprise with clients such as the NHS, Jaguar Land Rover, British Land and Land Securities winning schemes under Procure22 and NEC contracts to help secure £300m business stream annual turnover. Experience Over 25 years' experience leading bid teams and managing budgets to secure a turnover of between £15m to £20m for various regional businesses. Successfully managed bid teams in various locations throughout mainland Britain delivering consistently high-quality submissions including contractors' proposals, programme details and the methodology being utilised in the proposed project delivery.
