Profile An experienced and flexible Bid Director / Manager / Writer for complex Infrastructure, Professional Services and Built Environment submissions in the Public Sector. With a proven capability of managing diverse, multi-partner bids and JV's including large technical teams and subject matter experts, in the UK and internationally. This is through pursuit management, bid strategy and development of a compelling submission, championing innovation and challenging the status quo. Key Achievements APMP Certified Practitioner. MBA. Assisted clients on eight major bid submissions over the past 18 months, each valued between £80m-£360m each, win-rate consistently over 70%. Delivered £25m in fee revenue in 12 months against a target of £4.5m for a UK Professional Services business. Implemented and drove best practice for a Professional Services company, increasing win rate from 20% to 75% in 12 months and reducing cost. Experience Over 34 years' experience in the delivery of Infrastructure schemes, including 14 years bidding and winning significant projects and programmes. An excellent communicator (verbally and written) and can unpackage complex issues. This Associate has managed bid budgets of up to £16m and virtual bid teams with over 50 members. Drives collaboration and provides strategic input to win plans and commercial discussions. Achieves success through inspiring teams and organisations to understand the challenge and deliver a compelling story that wows the client. Applies rigour through the governance process and manages risks at all stages. Their experience includes the delivery of submissions for Infrastructure, Professional Services, Tunnelling, bBidges, Security and MoD and MoJ.
