Profile An experienced professional with over 25 years of winning new business as either Bid Director, Bid Manager or Technical Lead, focused on bidding new technologies and services. From a foundation in software development and complex real time systems delivery this Associate has focused on being at the forefront of technology, writing bids and strategically developing companies to grow. Prior to focusing on bid consultancy, this Associate has held roles in technical management, business development, consultancy and start-up Founder of a Cyber Security business. 8 years' experience in UK Government as a contractor specifying requirements, writing tenders and marking bids with insight into the bid preparation and marking process from the client side. Key Achievements Led multiple winning bids and PQQs for next generation systems and led the UK procurement activities of a UK procurement and an international government procurement as a contractor client side. Successfully led the PQQ activities of two brand new strategic opportunities for a large systems integrator in green field domains. Developed business cases and pitched them successfully to Venture Capital investors including SBI Japan. Led, won and delivered 4 Innovate UK Grants and 1 EU Grant with the Digital Catapult. Experience Initial hands on experience of delivering real-time software systems led to successful business development achievements in information systems and networks for Government, Defence and the Cyber Security markets with THALES and SourceFire. Experienced in defining and delivering products, value pricing and the financial and business aspects of account management and project management. Founded an award-winning Cyber Security start-up in London in building the company from scratch through multiple funding rounds (£3.5m) including Venture Capital funding from Softbank Investments, Japan. Best known for their thought leadership as an innovative entrepreneur who developed a security cloud-based platform focused on consumer usability to reduce friction during authentication. They have brought companies to international expansion across Asia Pacific (APAC) and Europe, where they are known as a Keynote Speaker at the Japanese Embassy and Taiwanese Insurance Institute to name a few. This Associate built their previous company through recruiting an international team across Tech, Sales and Marketing to build and deliver the authentication solution and this led to successfully opening an international HQ in Tokyo. Delivered strategic results through management of a cross-functional team across developers, marketing, sales and commercial. Has worked in government, FinTech and Retail domains, supplier and client side.
