Profile An accomplished Bid / Business Development Director with extensive experience of supporting public, private, voluntary and community organisation to develop, increase and sustain growth. Multi-disciplinary expertise across bids, tenders, proposals, fundraising, joint-ventures, mergers and acquisitions. Strengths in business origination, stakeholder engagement, bids, supply chain development and fundraising strategy development. Key Achievements Has secured over £500m of funding through direct bids and sub-contracting across: Employability (£200m+) - 3 London 2012 and 8 local authority job brokerages; multiple DWP and JCP contracts from EZ and FND to EMO, DAF and DPS provision. Skills (£30m+) - ESFA, Non-Levy Apprenticeships, AEB, SSU/SSW, NHS DPS, FE Capital London - NEET prevention, Care Leavers, SEND. Justice - Youth Offenders, Transforming Rehabilitation. Europe - ESF, ERDF, Erasmus Education (£110m+) - National Citizen Service, local authority traded services, Careers & Enterprise Company; Grants and Trusts. Employers & Business - CSR and employer engagement strategies, London Strategic Investment Pot. Frameworks - local authority, NHS and central government agencies. Win rates of up to 70% for new business and over 90% for re-bids have been achieved. Experience Over 20 years' experience of securing funding through bids and engaging with stakeholders at senior levels from small Charities and local authority leads, to FTSE 100 and government ministers. They can support all aspects of the business development lifecycle and has experience of successfully delivering winning bids in Business Support, Community Development, Education, Employability, Justice, Local Government, Skills and Youth.
