Bid Manager

Profile An accomplished and qualified bid and team manager, with a win rate of 65%+ and £200m+ of new business secured. Over the last 12 years has successfully managed bids to private and public sector organisations, often requiring input from multiple divisions and geographies. Particularly skilled in bid strategy sessions, win themes and team management, as well as opportunities for scoring high marks on procurement-led bids. Key Achievements Successfully managed hundreds of small, medium and large bids to multiple industries, to both public and private sector clients. Established a bid function and process for construction company, taking win rates from <25% to 65%+. Temporarily led the Bid Team of a Top 100 Law Firm. Worked with FTSE 100 property company to deliver successful execution of pre-bid engagement and relationship building. Management of (successful) pioneering cross border bid response for FTSE 250 property company. APMP qualified to Foundation level. Experience Has undertaken in-house and consulting roles, developing a reputation for detailed and composed project management, as well as an ability to dissect complex RFP opportunities - an essential requirement for public sector bids. Has a background in professional services (including surveying, legal and construction) and construction. They have experience of end-to-end bid management, from identification through to project delivery. They will bring over a decade of knowledge into opportunity qualification, win strategies, commercial discussions and solution delivery. They also have experience of wider business development training on best practice, account management and sector targeting. Excellent verbal and written communicator.
