Bid Director

Profile An experienced Bid Leader of complex and large-scale Professional Services / Construction / Civil Engineering / Highways and latterly Health and Social Care bids. This Associate has a proven track record of managing multi-disciplinary teams for technically demanding and diverse bids. They are particularly adept at understanding client's needs, building effective relationships with clients and creating solutions / value propositions that drive revenue growth whilst maximising win-rates. Key Achievements Created and led a winning bid team that delivered over £300m+ of new and repeat business via competitive tender. Successfully managed over 100 large bid submissions into Public Sector organisations (greater than £10m). Bid win-rate consistently over 70%. Delivered £80m of new contract revenue in under 12 months for a major UK Community Equipment and Wheelchair Services business. Implemented a programme of bidding best practice in a major healthcare business and improved win rate from 30% to 60% in 18 months. Supported various household names with strategic and tactical bid work as a consultant. APMP Member. Experience Over 25 years' experience of creating and leading winning bid teams. Has managed bid budgets of up to £20m and virtual bid teams with over 100 members. Seasoned professional at dealing with and negotiating at CEO Level. Strong focus and understanding of deal governance. This Associate has experience of developing and mentoring teams in bid best practice. They have a background in solutions design and service development and experience of bid campaign management from opportunity identification through to presentation and project delivery, and will provide valuable input into opportunity qualification, win strategies, commercial discussions and solution delivery. Has experience of successfully delivering winning bids and rebids in Health, Social Care, Facilities Management, Security, Professional Services, and Construction bids.
