Profile A director level Bid Specialist with over 18 years' experience in senior bid leadership roles in Law and Accountancy firms. This Associate delivers practical solutions whilst offering a fresh perspective and client focus across all areas of bid management for both live bids and bid infrastructure. A positive, focussed and assertive individual with a flexible approach. Has the ability to persuade, influence and challenge in a constructive and diplomatic manner whilst driving actions and change. Key Achievements Increased the win rate from 40% to 80-85% over 4 years for a global law firm. Led the full lifecycle of bid support for over 100 global bids. Established an integrated global approach to bid management from scratch. Integrated bid functions of 4 new global regions as they joined the firm. Established an off-shore outsourced global bid production function. Reduced fee earner non-chargeable time on bids by 40% over 4 years. Developed a comprehensive global bid toolkit and delivered global and local bid training for business development teams and fee earners, enabling a more efficient, consistent and client centric approach to bidding. Recruited, trained and developed high performing bid teams. Experience Directed and led strategic bids through the full bid lifecycle. Initiated and facilitated challenging conversations with senior fee earners and provided ongoing strategic challenge and critique to ensure the team and the bid strategy remained client focussed. A strong facilitator in presentation preparation. A proven track record of establishing, refining and developing bid functions, including enhancements to infrastructure and coaching bidding teams.
