Profile A committed, versatile, articulate and personable bidding professional with a broad array of skills and experience. Highly motivated with a proven track record in business development, bidding and mobilisation within large complex organisations in a number of sectors, including Local Government, Waste Management, Defence, FM, Utilities, Rail and Highways. Excellent organisational and time management skills with a track record of delivering to tight timescales. Competent at leading teams to deliver successful outcomes with excellent oral and written skills. Willing to travel across UK for the right opportunity. Key Achievements Worked on over 30 major bids delivering winning solutions worth over £4bn. Over 15 years of successful work winning working on behalf of Private Sector, Local Government and the 3rd Sector. Managed bids on behalf of client organisations and contractors - has good knowledge of both sides of the work winning fence. Competent in all aspects of work winning, from capture planning / scoping, bid direction, bid budget management, negotiation / competitive dialogue, mobilisation and service delivery. Associate member of the Association of Project Management and full Member of the Institute of Chartered Waste Management (MCIWM). Shipley trained. Experience First worked on work winning / bidding in the public sector before progressing to the private sector working for a major public Infrastructure service provider where they honed their work winning skills.
