Profile Delivering winning bid solutions for clients over the last 10 years, an analytical, engineering focused, multi-discipline infrastructure Bid Manager drawing on over 25 years of experience. Agreeing bid specific vision, strategy and objectives, winning work on schemes from £3m to £350m. Key Achievements Delivered and secured major multi-discipline £120m Network Rail Crossrail on-networks bid. Managed major Joint Venture bids over £300m for the introduction of Digital Railway European Train Control System into the UK. Must win success rate of 50%, with targeted bid strategies to deliver target margin through innovation. Numerous complex tenders ensuring the proposal workstream integrated the technical and cost solutions through a staged process to create cohesive powerful propositions. Experience Specialist in directing, facilitating and understanding what the client tender requirements are and what the structure, roles and profile of the bid team should look like to deliver a winning bid. Creation, approval and management of progress against the bid schedule / program, agreeing the bid organisation, cost and resource schedule. Demonstrating empathic leadership and communication skills to guide the team dynamic and intense working environments, reacting proactively to change and constraints to the bid process, ensuring the team work collaboratively with professional and respectful attitudes. Understanding the importance of identifying specialists within the bid team whom are responsible to deliver efficient value for money solutions. Ensures the commercial, legal and risk disciplines are at the heart of the bid ensuring the team has clarity to realise the bid strategy, and offer alternative solutions.
