Bid Manager - Senior

Profile An experienced and highly motivated, Shipley trained Senior Bid Manager with demonstrable skills in the delivery of technology and services under extreme environmental and resource pressures. Capable of running complex high value bids from pre-sales and qualification, through all Shipley or APMP colour reviews, pricing, bid budget control, teaming and risk management to submission and delivery handover. Key Achievements Achieved successes including bid managing a successful €28m NATO Logistics tender, a Digital Interview Recording deal with Greater Manchester Police, Secure Networks bid for National Nuclear Laboratory and a sizeable €multi-million Cyber Security deal with an International Missile Manufacturing Consortium. Experience With over 29 years' experience working in bid, programme and project management roles in the Defence and Security arena. This associate has recently run a large scale £40m+ bid for Boeing Defence UK controlling and leading a team of 33. This pedigree demonstrates their eye for detail, ability to lead and win large-scale multinational, highly complex pursuits and bids, displaying strong commercial acumen. Current on MOD initiatives and programmes such as, Defence as a Platform (DaaP), MODNet, NSoIT, DOTC(Air) DCS&S, Joint Fires Synthetic Training (JFTS) and Air Support to Deference Operational Training (ASDOT).
