Bid Manager

Profile As an experienced Bids & Pursuits Manager, this Associate works closely with key stakeholders, on a global scale, to assist in the development and consistency of proposals, pitching for opportunities within the wider infrastructure sector. In addition, their role provides strategic input by assisting the stakeholders in the assessment of new opportunities to ensure that these new projects sit in line with the firm's overall purpose led strategy - to inspire lives, promote growth and build a better world. Key Achievements Won on a variety of private and government construction projects including; airport development projects in the UK, US, Middle East and Africa (with construction values in excess of GBP £1bn); railway and metro developments in the UK and Africa (with anticipated fee values in excess of GBP £10m) and bridge, road and highway projects globally (with construction values in excess of GBP £5bn). Won nationwide PPP focused property regeneration projects, which were designed to increase the number of social housing units whilst harness the local commercial awareness. In 2018, they led one of the UK's largest infrastructure tenders to provide this nationwide client with a full-scale legal services, providing them legal advise across all their operational and project related matters, including the developments on some of the UK's most significant transport and infrastructure projects bringing in an anticipated fee value of £25m per year. Experience This Associate's work experience spreads across various sectors from Architecture, Construction and Legal. In this time, they have developed a strong eye when selecting opportunities and producing content that has solid potential and commercial appeal for the business. They have also demonstrated my ability to discover sets and trends of today's market and determine which opportunities were most suitable and purposeful for the firm. They have developed a wide range of skills, and previously coming from a leadership role they have acquired the natural ability to build and leverage relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
