Profile This associate is a true all-rounder when it comes to the world of bidding and project management. They are extremely bright and articulate, approachable and strongly driven by getting the job done, solving problems and improving things. They can easily flex between different roles depending on your needs, even during the same assignment. Key Achievements Creating and leading winning bid teams for large PFI / PPP tenders (£300m+), creating and implementing best practise bid processes, including formal gate reviews, approvals processes, templates etc. Developing training courses for bid teams, turning technical text into winning bid text, making your CVs come to life and stand out, developing and drafting policy documents and stakeholder consultations for the public sector. Recruiting, mentoring and leading staff. Experience During the last 20 years, this associate has worked in a wide range of industries including Telecoms, Property, Construction, Energy and Civil Engineering. Skills include setting up and driving the initial stages of bids, projects and opportunities, leading PFI bids to financial close (up to £1.2bn), evaluating tenders for the public sector and taking on client facing roles. This associate also has a great eye for detail and is skilled at intelligent proofreading (including the so what, how, benefit, innovation and evidence parts), CV writing and bid writing (including health & safety, sustainability, CSR, quality and environment). Great at facilitating win strategy / key messages workshops and creating / providing tailored writer training as well as leading answer planning sessions, chairing stakeholder and focus groups, and presenting to larger audiences. They have previous experience of creating and documenting bid processes from scratch and arranging teach-in sessions to staff. They have experience from both private and public sector, working in multi-cultural schemes including travelling and working abroad. Keen STEM ambassador (DBS cleared to work with school children) and speaks / writes in additional languages.
