Profile An experienced Strategic Bid Writer engaged primarily in the Government, UK, Middle East and India markets. This associate has a proven track record of delivering and managing technically demanding and diverse bids in multiple disciplines and teams. They are particularly adept at assessing bid risks, compliance, client need assessment and implementing appropriate bid strategies to maximise win-rates. Key Achievements Transformed underperforming sales, business development and bid functions across a range of services and markets. Successfully delivered over 200 large bid submissions in to multiple industries (>£5m). Bid win-rate consistently over 75%. Delivered £80m of new contract revenue in under 12 months for a major UK Professional Services business. Drove a programme of bidding best practice in a Global Security business and doubled sales in under a year. Helped clients with bids to UK Government departments such as DFID, FCO, DIT, Home Office and Crown Commercial Service. Experience Over 15 years' experience of leading winning bid teams and contributing to virtual bid teams with over 30 members. Seasoned professional at dealing with and negotiating at all levels of Government and business. Strong focus and understanding of deal governance. This associate has experience of developing and mentoring teams in bid best practice. They have a background in solutions and services and experience of bid campaign management from opportunity identification through to project delivery, and will provide valuable input into opportunity qualification, win strategies, bid content, commercial discussions and solution delivery. Has experience of successfully delivering winning bids in Aerospace, Security, Trade, Government, Defence, Facilities Management, Health, Professional Services, Construction and Cyber bids.
