Profile An experienced Bid Writer / Leader with a proven record of success across multiple sectors including Healthcare, Welfare & Employment, IT, Language Services and Construction. This associate has significant experience managing multi-disciplinary bid teams, experience developed through a background in Private Sector operations management and managing bids for a number of clients over the last 3 years. They have a proven record of creating concise and compelling bid narrative leveraging their journalistic multi-sector experience to create winning bids. Key Achievements Delivered winning bids on National Diabetes Prevention Programme, Sexual Health Services and Integrated Urgent Care Services. Supported IT services SME onto a £250m NHS Framework - the client was the smallest successful bidder by a factor of 10 but scored highest on the quality side of the bid. Language Services: 50% win rate in a very competitive sector with >85% win rate on incumbent contracts. Language services client have doubled their revenue in 3 years as a result of contract wins delivered by this associate. Delivered training to a range of GP surgeries and Federations as part of the Humberside LMC's Facing the Future Seminar - subsequent success has been reported to the associate with training delivering the skills and confidence to individuals in a sector unfamiliar with the process. Experience With 10 years' journalistic experience working for a major UK news agency developing a compelling and persuasive writing style, this associate transferred these skills into the bid writing and management sector and has achieved notable success in sectors including: Healthcare, IT, Language Services, Welfare, skills and employment, Construction including modular buildings and Marketing. This associate has liaised and communicated extensively at board level, informing service design, bid risk and bid co-ordination over multiple sectors and with large multinational corporations and SMEs. They have extensive experience of service delivery (through operational management experience), compliance requirements (through work with the CQC and others) and governance arrangements following work with a range of clients in high-risk sectors.
