Profile Over 15 years successful Bid Manager and Bid Writer experience creating compelling responses for complex client requirements with successful bid values of up to £70m. Structured and systematic approach to bid development, focused on understanding customer drivers and demonstrating the customer value and benefits of the solution, while ensuring the answer is compliant. Excellent coaching and interpersonal skills, building effective working partnerships with key knowledge holders to capture and present corporate capability. Strong analytical skills and communication skills, creating structured, logical and "lean" responses including graphics to effectively present solution within any bid constraints (word count, pages etc.). Key Achievements Managed a successful £70m bid for government business support, co-ordinating input from 4 partners. Created key content for a successful £20m events bid. Won over six ERDF funding contracts worth over £7m. Won over 10 contracts for regional development worth over £10m. Created a corporate brochure demonstrating delivery approach for a professional services organisation. Written successful R&D funding applications with a value of over £4m. Experience Strong project management skills, mobilising and co-ordinating resources to achieve key bid milestones and stage-gates. Good stakeholder management skills and able to direct and co-ordinate bids involving multiple delivery partners. Excellent commercial and financial skills ensuring bids are robust, deliverable and can achieve the desired return on investment. Able to work under pressure and prioritise activities to create the best response. Bid experience of public and private sector bids, covering technical and professional solutions, including Outsourced Services, IT Solutions, Organisational Development and Training, Business Support, Technical Experts, Consulting Services, Maintenance solutions, Logistics, Research and Development Funding. Strong development and change management skills able to develop internal bid processes and capability.
