Bid Manager

  • Minimum Rate: £450 a day

Profile A seasoned professional with extensive operational and consultancy experience both on the provider and client side. A proven track record of delivering complex and challenging bids and the return of investments (ROI); including internal and external management and liaison. Extensive experience in all aspects and stages of bidding including document production; presentations; briefings; legal negotiations; funder diligence and parent company approvals. Also has experience in the evaluation and reporting of major FM project bids. Key Achievements Has led multiple large FM PFI / PPP / NDPO bids as part of a consortium submission including production of bid narrative and pricing inputs; negotiation of Services Specifications; Contractor's Proposals; Paymech analysis and negotiation and inter-consortium negotiations. Has delivered projects from initial enquiry through bid / no-bid; PQQ; ITN; Interim Bids / BAFOs to financial close and mobilisation deliverables including commercial support and training. Evaluation and reporting of major Facilities Management bids. Experience A Facilities Management professional with over 20 years' experience specifically in both Operational and Consultancy FM roles within the Public and Private Sectors (including both the primary and secondary PFI / PPP / NPDO market), with over 25 years of experience of FM, term and maintenance procurement. Over the years has been engaged in a variety of roles, across a wide spectrum of industry sectors, from external consulting to clients, FM providers and Funders to operational Commercial Management (in a general FM and PFI / PPP specific context). Produces high quality documentation / presentations and is an excellent presenter; communicator; analyst and negotiator.
