Comprehensive understanding of Public and Private sector procurement practice including the complexities of government frameworks and their bidding structures. Successful track record of winning high value bids over a broad customer portfolio and adapting each bid to align with the client's culture and values. Responsibilities involved formulating a start-up company's contractual business strategy. Managing the process of bids and tenders from initial prospecting to implementation and reviewing ongoing performance, trends and profitability. Key Achievements Consistently overachieved on win value and revenue expectations. Developed a bid team capable of competing against their most fierce competitors from scratch. Achieved strategic goals of gaining market share within the Crown Commercial Services government frameworks for IT and Business Supplies. Implemented quality procedures and gained certification to achieve 'bid ready' status for a start-up company. Identified 'win' themes and developed pricing strategies to take bid from the largest competitor in the market. Experience Over 16 years' experience with involvement in all aspects of the process from initial pipeline creation, creating compelling and successful bids through to implementing these within the agreed timelines. A competent and professional Writer, Presenter and Project Manager. Certified Bid Manager and Author with ability to work within a large team on a strategic bid or advise on where to start for companies with little or no experience of the tendering process.
