Profile An experienced Bid leader of large complex opportunities in national and local government. With a flexible and adaptable approach, this associate provides support across the full range of bid activities, from capture planning and story boarding through to bid management, governance, editing and bid writing. Seasoned professional at dealing with and negotiating at CEO Level. Strong focus and understanding of deal governance. This associate has experience of developing and mentoring teams in bid best practice. They are quick to understand client's USPs and create winning proposals. Key Achievements Growing a new business from zero to £50m per year through new business wins. Successfully overseeing the management of over 200 bids annually. Establishing a professional approach to bidding and business development, building internal capability through training and development, improving bid to win ratio by over 60%. Building bidding partnerships with international partners to bring best practice into the sector. Reshaping businesses to give a commercial edge in a competitive environment. Experience This Associate has over twenty years of experience in the public, private and voluntary sectors. Has experience of working on both sides of the bid environment, working in central government as a designer and commissioner of programmes, then as a Bid Director bidding into government. They have led on bidding from small local contracts through to national and European bids worth £100m+, with a total amount bid for in excess of £4bn.
