Profile An experienced and commercially aware Bid Coordinator specialising in bidding within project based organisations. A confident and personable individual who is highly numerate, self-motivated and very reliable. Able to maintain accuracy and attention to detail when working under pressure and can also make sound decisions when faced with ambiguity. This associate is particularly skilled at working well with different personality types within a bid team and has delivered winning bids in Defence, Rail, Aviation and Process Industry sectors. Key Achievements Led successful PQQ responses for two separate £150m Network Rail framework contracts. Both projects were very high profile within the bidding organisation and involved coordinating contributions across the entire business within strict deadlines. Managed a successful bid for the provision of a managed service into a major airline, beating lower priced competitors. Degree Qualified Mechanical Engineer, trained in Technical Authorship and is APMP Foundation Certified. Experience Over 10 years' experience of bid management / coordination, working as a contractor since 2014. Used to working within multi-disciplinary teams in large organisations where there is often demanding internal governance processes to be followed, in addition to the usual pressures of producing the bid on time. Good understanding of the importance of attention to detail around bid administration - logical folder structures, version control, document management and bid cost control etc. Familiar with the use of online bid portals for submission of PQQs, RFPs and associated TQs. Proficient user of Microsoft Office and basic knowledge of Adobe InDesign.
