Profile An experienced Bid Manager / Director of complex and large-scale FM, Construction, Healthcare and Private Sector bids. This associate has a proven track record of managing multi-disciplinary teams for technically demanding and diverse bids. Particularly adept at managing both the bid cycle and the procurement process having worked in procurement for over thirteen years prior to entering the world of bid writing. Key Achievements Successfully led and managed over 150 large bid submissions across various sectors. Bid win-rate consistently over 75%. Drove a programme of audits for a security company leading to improvements in their processes and procedures which subsequently improved their win rate within the public sector. Supported a number of internal bid writers helping them to improve their style of writing, which has led to the creation of more compelling and quality driven returns. Experience With over 15 years' experience of leading winning bid teams. Has managed bid budgets of up to £30m and virtual bid teams with numerous stakeholders. A well-organised, driven and intuitive individual accustomed to working to tight deadlines, resourceful and enthusiastic with a good sense of humour. A tenacious negotiator, with excellent communication skills at all levels. Strong focus and understanding of bid governance. This associate has experience of developing and mentoring teams in bid best practice, constantly monitoring own and team effectiveness and adapting working style to reach peak performance and excellence.
