Profile A highly motivated and experienced Bid Manager, specialising in large scale EPCI Subsea Construction bids with a proven track record in delivering successful proposals to a broad, global client base. Managing multi-disciplinary teams for technically demanding and diverse bids. Primary offshore markets of expertise covering the UK, Asia-Pacific, West Africa, North America and Brazil. Particularly adept at managing bid risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies to minimise risk and maximise profits. Key Achievements Managed first winning bid for Ceona worth $30m for Petrobras in Brazil. Managed several winning bids for Ceona to secure over 12 month's backlog of work in West Africa for clients such as ENI, Camac Energy and Shell, worth in excess of $80m. Managed key rigid pipeline bid for Subsea 7 worth $30m for Eon Rughgas in the North Sea. Managed winning tender for Canyon to secure 24 month charter for the Olympic Canyon for Reliance in India. Successfully managed hundreds of bid submissions of varying degrees of complexity up to value of $250m. Experience Over 10 year's industry experience with in depth knowledge of Subsea Construction Pipelines, Trenching and Renewables. Experienced in cradle to grave bidding and well versed in working with business development teams in the pursuit of new business. Extensive experience in developing contracting strategies and working with supply chain groups to ensure technical compliance and commercial optimisation in the development of winning solutions. Experienced Estimator in all areas of Subsea Construction. Confident presenter to both internal and external stakeholders including Executive Teams and Tier 1 Clients. Also has skills in managing teams, process development, RFQ development and 3rd party normalisation, contract negotiations and executive reporting. An excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing.
