Bid Manager

Profile A highly experienced, international Bid Manager with a track record of success working on complex and large-scale bids in the HR Consulting, Recruitment and RPO / MSP solution sectors. Structured and systematic approach to bid development, focused on understanding customer drivers and demonstrating value and benefits of the solution. Key Achievements APMP Foundation Certified. Built and led high-performing teams with 0% attrition rate. Consistently delivered strong results to the business, with a win contract value of €5.2bn (total value of tenders managed during this period was €13.1bn). Developed the bid process, based upon APMP principals. Implemented a rigorous bid qualification process for all opportunities, increasing win rate by over 45%. Managed the involvement of multiple global work-streams to ensure production of quality work within a pressurised, deadline driven environment. Created, executed and updated a central repository of information. Experience Over 12 years' experience of leading winning bid teams. Strong focus and understanding of deal governance with experience of developing and mentoring teams in bid best practice. Good stakeholder management skills and able to direct and coordinate bids involving multiple delivery partners. Able to work under pressure and prioritise activities to create the best response. Adept at international tender management with experience in EMEA, APAC and US markets - International travel has been largely unnecessary due to ability to manage bids remotely using virtual teaming techniques.
