Profile Senior Bid Manager, highly capable and confident in leading bids end-to-end. Extensive experience in both the legal industry and the IT & Telecoms industry. Highly skilled in improving bid processes, coaching and training to continuously improve the bid experience. This Associate offers a unique blend of bid experience and client relationship management experience. This Associate is quick to understand the commercial drivers and selling points on which to build compelling, well-written business proposals, with excellent team working skills, and a good understanding of diverse business cultures. This Associate can also add value in areas such as proposal planning, writing executive summaries and proposal content, editing and proofing. Key Achievements Examples of bids managed include multiple global legal panel bids, multiple legal RFPs, 3 major IT & Telecoms outsource bids ($250m + value) and a personal favourite was the win of a low probability strategic global bid opportunity. Designed and rolled out an end-to-end bid process, as well as a content management database and a bid feedback analysis tool. Onsite Bid Manager at client office to manage bids, coach technical colleagues and introduce bid best practice. Experience Over 25 years' experience of leading winning bid teams through the full bid lifecycle and developing and mentoring teams in bid best practice. Highly skilled in partnering with sales managers and other key stakeholders to build and agree the win strategy, sales plan and win themes. This Associate's experience of what clients really want from suppliers has been further enhanced following their experience as a Client Relationship Manager. An excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing and is committed to getting the best out of people (currently training as a coach as part of their own personal development to gain new skills in this area).
