Profile An adaptable and highly experienced Bid Specialist with an exceptional track record in developing successful bid strategies and managing bid teams. Adept at working flexibly in a wide range of contract and interim bid management situations; from providing ad hoc support on individual 'must win' proposals to leading a review of an organisation's bid strategy to effect behavioural change and drive win rates. Has particular experience of managing bids in the highly regulated sectors of Healthcare (both Public Health and Pharmaceutical) and Financial Services. Key Achievements Led winning bids for more than 10, £1m+ / year contracts. Experienced in managing complex, multistage bids across the entire bid lifecycle. Designed and delivered training for over 200 senior staff in bid skills and methodology. Proven track record in improving win rates to 70%. Developed and led roll out of UK bid methodology for a 'Big 4' firm. Experience Over 15 years' experience as a Bid Specialist; 10 gained in leading multidisciplinary bid teams at a number of leading Professional Services firms, followed by 5 as a dedicated Bid Consultant. Has managed multidisciplinary bid teams in over 100 locations to develop cohesive international bid submissions across a wide range of industries and sectors. Adept at building trusted relationships at all levels of an organisation, from juniors to managing partners / directors. Skills include coaching and mentoring teams to develop and deliver winning bid strategies; leading and disseminating best practice and providing independent challenge to bid teams.
