More specifically, working as a Proposal Writer on the same company's sales pursuits. Both had contracts valued at over £500m, and in both cases, this associate was involved at every stage from RFI (request for information), through RFP (request for proposal) and BAFO (best and final offer). Played a major role in creating the proposal and executive summary for a UK TV company. Worked on numerous successful bids, in both the public and private sectors, and across many industries, from Finance to Telecommunications, Energy and Manufacturing. These bids have involved multi-year contracts valued at anything from a few million dollars to hundreds of millions. Experience As Proposal Manager, this associate has had to marshal the resources of disparate teams, with widely different personalities, skills and aptitudes, and ensure that they do what IT technical experts like doing least: writing.
