Bid Manager

  • Minimum Rate: £500 a day

Profile An experienced and enthusiastic Bid Manager with a proven track record of delivering winning bids to time and budget. Working within a range of industries including Aerospace, Defence, IT, Rail and Construction. With experience of coordinating the submission of multiple proposals simultaneously, delivering £multi-million tender submissions and introducing Bid Management best practice and process to growing companies. Key Achievements Introduction of proposal management governance processes and procedures within ISO 9001 QMS including training of company staff. Responsible for successfully securing numerous framework agreements within government Defence and Research markets. Leading bid teams (including virtual teams) in addressing new customers within new markets while sustaining the win rate within established customers and markets. APM and APMP qualified. Experience Comfortable working on bids and proposals ranging from £100k to £40m and working with stakeholders at all levels within companies. Constantly looking for opportunities to apply best practice and deliver improvements through the application of over 15 years of Bid and Proposal Management experience with a diverse range of industries. Enjoys not just the delivery of successful bid campaigns, but also working closely with sales teams in the development of win themes and bid strategies in order to increase the probability of tender success. Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
