Profile Bid Manager with 17+ years' experience of successfully leading bids in IT services (including Outsourcing) and Logistics in both the private and public sectors. Has worked closely with business functions including Sales, IT, Operations, Legal and Finance to qualify opportunities, develop competitor and customer analysis, and create high quality compliant and compelling proposals. Provides clear bid leadership and direction to plan and execute responses to tenders within the defined timescales, ensuring that internal governance processes are followed. Key Achievements Established a Bid Management function in three organisations. Has led large successful (>£100m) complex bids, and led subsequent major negotiations, Due Diligence and Implementation Projects. Played a major role in a corporate sales transformation program coaching and mentoring the sales team (75 business development professionals) in new corporate sales methodology and implementing new sales governance processes. Experience This Associate has over 25 years' experience in a variety of IT roles including Bid Management, Applications Management, Programme Management, Service Delivery and Project Management. They have experience in Oil and Gas, Utilities and Logistics sectors, and has led teams of varying sizes including over 350 staff. Certifications include PRINCE2 and Managing Successful Programs (MSP) at Practitioner Level, and Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) and ITIL - at Foundation Level. They also have experience of a number of sales and bid methodologies including Revenue Storm, Miller Heiman and Shipley.
