Profile A highly skilled and experienced Business Development Director having successfully built businesses in Healthcare and Telecommunications through targeted sales, account management and development and bidding in the Public Sector (NHS Commissioned). This associate excels at bringing teams together to focus on business opportunities, establishing relationships with both the team and clients, providing experience, energy and enthusiasm. A team leader and team player who will add impetus and commitment to the business development process. Key Achievements Most recently (2014/15) on behalf of ambitious NHS Foundation Trusts, led 2 x successful bids for NHS Services valued at £40m per annum (Community mental health services) and £60m per annum (Community physical health services). On three separate occasions has built businesses from a zero base to annual values of £60m (Corporate telecommunications), £125m (wholesale carrier's carrier telecommunications) and £58m (establishing his independent sector employer as the market leader in physical and mental healthcare services in secure environments). Experience This associate's achievements are underpinned by the experience and capability to lead the complete business development process from identification and qualification of an opportunity through to a successful bid submission. Supporting the post submission negotiations to conclude a successful contract award, manage service design / redesign, improvements and innovation to generate service efficiencies.
