Profile An accomplished board-level executive, with a broad range of business development, bid, commercial and P&L management experience. Has held Bid Director, Head of Bids & Tenders, Business Unit Director and Business Development Director roles with a multinational conglomerate over 20 years. Has a successful track record of managing team, partner and stakeholder relations. Has extensive international experience of managing high performing teams of business development and bid (and other) professionals from different cultures. Key Achievements As Bid Director, has led 30 winning bids worth over £0.5bn. As Head of Bids, has secured business worth over £2.5bn for major Technology and Infrastructure providers. As P&L Manager / Director has managed over £4bn of revenue. 1 of 5 Directors who successfully completed an MBO in 1996. 5 years at board level with a Tier 1 IT Services company. First-class honours degree. Experience Over 20 years leadership experience in bids and proposals, large / complex mergers & acquisitions, P&L management and the European major bid team of a top-10 global IT services provider. Over the last 4 years has worked on an interim basis as a Bid Director and Head of Bids for Infrastructure and Construction organisation, developing experience across a wide range of clients and industry sectors. Confident managing the entire business winning process, planning and qualifying opportunities, creating winning strategies and building successful bid teams. A credible and successful negotiator, capable of managing partner and stakeholder relations at the highest levels.
