Profile Having worked in the Engineering and Construction industry for over 30 years gaining a deep and extensive knowledge of a number of industry sectors, most notably Oil & Gas, Nuclear and Chemicals. For the last 12 years has specialised in the conversion of business opportunities into compelling and winning bids and proposals. Key Achievements An extensive network of colleagues and clients across the UK and overseas and has been able to leverage these relationships to ensure an enviable 70% win rate for bids and has been responsible for winning in excess of £1.8bn work of business over the last 5 years. Worked in the UK and internationally throughout their career and has become a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute and a Member of the Association of Proposal Management Professionals. Experience Highly skilled professional Project and Commercial Director / Manager with extensive experience in winning and delivering large and complex projects. As a fully qualified APMP member, this associate is a well organised manager and business leader with very good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. Key focus is on project / product delivery within cost, schedule and quality parameters and leads teams by example. Takes an analytical approach to finance by ensuring a clear understanding of the goals, reporting and communication requirements. Believes that ensuring a clear strategic vision and approach to winning new business is essential to ensure success, additionally an open an honest approach to commercial issues and a detailed knowledge of commercial terms and conditions and how to apply them will provide the delivery success required.
