Profile With over 9 years' experience of working within Construction and Engineering bid teams, this Associate is proficient in writing, editing and managing successful bids from £10k to £20m. They maximise win rates by writing concise, persuasive and well laid-out responses. Their ability to quickly take the lead on a bid has been gained from their previous experience of interim roles. Skilled in managing and writing multiple bids simultaneously, this Associate remains calm and focused even when deadlines are close. Key Achievements Bid Writer for Balfour Beatty for the £462m North West Construction Hub Medium Value Framework. Regularly has their contracts extended: in 2019, a four week contract was extended by an additional 12 weeks, working with a contractor specialising in steelwork and rail. Spent three months working remotely with a virtual bid team and maintained an excellent win rate. Experience Experienced in Construction, Civils and Rail, predominately working with main contractors. With a clear understanding of the end-to-end bid process, this Associate is able to provide valuable input into bid / no-bid decisions, win strategies, answer plans, and delivery solutions. Proficient in writing high-scoring responses on a range of subjects such as corporate responsibility, community benefits, waste management and safety. Experienced in working with diverse teams: the Associate will work closely with subject matter experts to review and edit highly technical responses. Design skills including InDesign, Quark Xpress, Adobe Photoshop / Lightroom. Architectural photography can also be provided using the Associate's own professional equipment.
