Profile A high achieving Head of Bids / Bid Director with over 15 years' experience of establishing, managing and improving winning bid operations for large IT service organisations supplying the UK public sector. Key Achievements A snapshot of achievements in this period includes: Rebidding and winning c £42m of business for a training business. Delivering a 30% growth in orders YOY for a software development business during my term there coupled with a £26m YOY revenue growth. Significant Local Authority transport infrastructure wins with 3 new multi-year six figure contracts. Over the course of eighteen months generated business in excess of £50m for a national Utility. Delivered winning PFI responses for two Local Authorities that generated IT service contracts in excess of £70m. Introduced Automated Intelligence tools to improve bid efficiency for a training organisation. Experience 10+ years' experience as a Head of Bids, line managing a bid function of up to 20 staff, ensuring they are developed and motivated, quality continuously improves, latest bid tools are introduced and maintain an end-to-end bid process. 10+ years' experience hands-on bid managing of winning Shipley-based bid teams for various large IT service organisations, ranging from integrated software and services bids of £0.5m up to multi-site PFI services with contract values in the region of £50m. This Associate is also significantly commercially experienced, acting as the commercial lead for bids and procurements, developing board papers for investments, drafting contracts and negotiating final terms.
