Profile Significant experience of Technical Bid Writing, Bid Consultancy and Management across the Private, Public and Not-for-Profit Sectors. This associate has a track record of supporting the production of winning bids for high value, complex projects, often involving joint venture partners based across different geographical locations. Equally adept at working on multiple, lower value bids and PQQs, with a high turnover rate completing approximately 4 in a month. Key Achievements Bid Consultant for joint venture bid for £2bn Rail contract in Oman, Middle East. Responsibility for developing 'win themes', writing executive summary, reviewing editing and re-writing sections of ITT, ensuring the ITT was a consistent whole and not the combination of parts from JV partners. Bid Consultant for two separate complex Stadium construction bids in Doha, Qatar. Responsibility for developing and managing the deliverables matrix and gathering material from JV partners, on time. Editing and re-writing information ensuring consistent and compliant document. Developed and managed the bid library for a Not-for-Profit Housing Association. Creation of boilerplate material and templates based on a Shipley structure, for use in future bidding activity. Provided assessment of collaborative behaviours of bidding companies to the CP5 Network Rail bid process. Experience Has experience of technical bid writing in Rail, Stadium Construction, Construction and Earthworks, Security, Facilities Management and Integrated Services, Fleet Management Services, Social Care and Justice. An excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing. Has had work published and produced written reports for publication by Government Departments. Displays excellent interpersonal skills, ability to constructively challenge and ask the difficult questions, to ensure the creation of a winning bid. Has strong project management skills and a confident, proactive approach to problem solving. Prior to becoming a Freelance Bid Writer / Manager in 2007, had a background in the Not-for-Profit, Care and Justice sector, in Operational, Business Development Management and Account Management positions. Responsible for developing new business opportunities, stakeholder management and mobilisation of new projects, including line management and budget holding responsibilities.
