Profile A Senior Bid and Change Manger / Consultant holding a wealth of discrete bid and wider tender portfolio experience, typically within High Technology IT, Engineering and Construction sectors, gained through previous progressive permanent roles and freelance experience with major UK and US companies including Babcock, Hewlett-Packard, QinetiQ and others. Conversant and experienced with navigating both standard and tailored internal governance processes within rigorous procurement phases and competitions across the public and private sectors internationally. Able to work with and make recommendations regarding different commercial models and business development strategies. Key Achievements Able to offer tailored bid and generic business operations process improvement and innovation advice, both within teams and by interfacing with wider supporting business units. APMP Foundation Certified. Co-speaker at TCUK 2015. Experience Leading cross functional physical and virtual bid teams based locally or overseas, utilising matrixed intra-company resource capabilities as-well as external partner / supplier resourcing structures. Adept at rapidly reading-in and understanding the problem and solution spaces on technically and commercially complex UK and international opportunities; networking across the organisation and sensitively liaising with subject matter experts to define appropriate winning solutions, balancing the right level of technical, commercial, supply chain and other holistic input or innovation to achieve an acceptable and manageable risk profile delivering good business.
