Profile: An APMP accredited Project / Bid and Business Development Manager with over 10 years' experience devising winning bid strategies and managing the complete lifecycle of both small and complex, multi-million pound projects and procurements, from PQQ to financial close. Customer focused and commercially astute with significant exposure bidding for public and private sector contracts, PPP / PFI and DBFO contracts. Primarily in the Waste, Renewable Energy and Utilities sector. Full and comprehensive suite of bid management support provided on a selective basis and to suit business requirements. Key Achievements: Led on a number of multi-million pound PPP, PFI and DBFO projects ranging from £10m to £500m. Successfully led a number of winning, multi-disciplined, national and international bid teams with a proven track record of retaining existing contracts and winning new business (both local authority and commercial contracts). Used strong strategy, project management, team building, governance and stakeholder management skills to deliver excellent bid win rates of greater than 90%. Ongoing development of a concise in-house bid library for a major Waste Infrastructure Developer to ensure bid responses are current, concise, bespoke to the business and most importantly to answer the questions. Led complex, contractual and commercial negotiations with the client, senior stakeholders and local authorities. Conducted effective competitive dialogue sessions and presented final tenders that capture the audience. Experience: Over 10 years' experience managing the entire bid lifecycle, from devising bidding strategies to achieving financial close. Overseeing and leading various work streams incorporating areas of process, commercials, legal, technical, governance, HR, risk and quality. A highly skilled bid professional with a strong customer focus and excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills that are used to great effect in forming captivating and winning bid responses.
