Profile Works with Sales and Bid Managers in large multi-national corporations to develop excellence in all aspects of winning high value business. This has included developing account and capture planning processes, training client relationship skills and consultancy on individual bid submissions. Recently achieved Practitioner level qualification with the APMP. Key Achievements Developed and delivered a number of high level training and development engagements both in the private and public sector. These have been universally well received by the attendees, covering topics such as 'Exploiting the Public Sector process for competitive advantage' and 'Developing a winning PQQ'. Implemented team-based Account Planning interventions in a high-level management consultancy. These sessions not only led to successful new business but also helped shift the organisation to a more sales-oriented culture Developed and delivered ACIS (Advanced Client Interaction Skills), a skills development intervention for client facing personnel who were not maximising the opportunities for the business from their client interactions. Following this course significant changes in behaviour were measured, changes that had a direct impact on the business. Worked with a major UK pharmaceuticals company to help them redefine their sales strategy and design their sales force to support major revenue growth for the following year. Led the European implementation of a widely acclaimed 'Selling Complex Services' development. This course improved a sales teams' ability to identify and win complex Business Processing Outsourcing opportunities and to successfully engage at C-Level. APMP Certified Practitioner. Experience Director of the APMP UK and an EU Commission Expert Reviewer. This associate has worked on both sides of procurement, providing advice and guidance to Public Sector (Kent County Council, Home Office) and private sector clients (Unisys, Alcatel, HP) on how to get the best out of the Public Sector bidding process. Has worked as strategic adviser to both private and public sector organisations on key aspects of high value public sector contracts. These included the preparation of winning bid strategies, maximising supplier contribution and developing a client-focused culture.
