Profile An Economic Consultant with more than 20 years experience. In the past 10 years this associate has specialised in project development and bid writing during which time they have raised in excess of £10m for public and voluntary sector organisations. Specialises in raising funds for Enterprise and Innovation Schemes, particularly for Universities and Local Government sectors where they have won a significant quantity of repeat business from major Public Sector clients. Also works with Third Sector organisations to develop projects tackling local area deprivation. Key Achievements Conducting primary and secondary research to establish the need and demand for a project. Setting up large partnership projects and negotiating consortium agreements. Bid writing using jargon free, easy to understand language. Economic impact assessment to estimate likely job creation / economic impacts of proposed schemes. Development of business plans. Compliance advice for the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). Experience This associate's main focus is Enterprise and Innovation support. Also, developing business plans and project plans, economic impact assessment, managing projects and programmes, evaluation and research. Recently, they have had particular experience with ERDF. Also worked with the European Social Fund, Local Growth Fund, ERASMUS, Horizon 2020 and Big Lottery Funding.
