Profile An experienced Bid Consultant with a proven track record in winning Defence, Rail, Security and Construction bids. Excellent project management, leadership and interpersonal skills allow this associate to engage multi-disciplinary teams and drive all work streams towards comprehensive and coordinated tender responses. Key Achievements Managed over 20 complex bids for MOD contracts, including bids for new equipment, support for existing equipment, Construction projects and Professional Services. Led 2 bids for MOD contracts worth in excess of £30m. First bid was successful, still awaiting result of second bid. Proposal managed 4 major Rail bids, valued between £60m and £500m, including overhead line electrification, switches & crossings, and plain line. Proposal managed three Building Schools for the Future bids worth between £300m and £1.4bn. Bid win rate consistently over 65%. Qualifications include an MBA, BSc Psychology, Prince2, Managing Successful Programmes and 5 security courses with The Centre for the Protection of National Infrastructure. Experience Has over 7 years' experience of leading, proposal managing and writing major bids. Previously held various senior managerial positions across several industries. Has experience of successfully delivering winning Defence, Rail, Security and Construction bids. Comprehensive experience of analysing bid requirements, formulating winning strategies, managing all aspects of proposal development, communicating effectively and remaining calm under pressure. Excellent leadership and personnel management skills developed whilst serving as an Army Officer. Proven abilities to mentor subject matter experts, liaise with Senior Directors and completely integrate within a client team.
