Profile An experienced Senior Bid and Proposal Consultant used to tackling complex and large-scale Financial, IT, Logistics and Supply Chain tenders. This associate has a proven track record of managing multi-disciplinary teams for technically demanding and diverse bids. Particularly adept at being parachuted into failing bids and addressing the core issues as well energising teams to deliver ultimately winning bids. Key Achievements Led winning bid for multi £bn contracts for NHS and MOD contracts. Successfully managed over 100 large bid submissions into multiple industries (greater than £10m). Tender win-rate consistently over 75% and retention rate of 100%. Delivered £138m of new contract revenue in under 12 months and retained £105m for a major UK Professional Services business. Whilst appointed as an Interim Head of Bids, increased win rate from 25% to 80% in under 12 months including the winning of the first bid from their major competitor in 7 years. APMP Member. Experience Over 20 years' experience in business development, procurement and bidding - both proposals and presentations. Has managed bid budgets of up to £12m and virtual bid teams with over 50 members. Seasoned professional at dealing with and negotiating at CEO Level. Strong focus and understanding of procurement and how to play them back at their own game. This associate has experience of developing and mentoring individuals and teams in bid best practice through onsite coaching, even during the most pressurised situation. A background in solutions and services and experience of bid campaign management from opportunity identification through to project delivery. Provides valuable input into opportunity qualification, win strategies, commercial discussions and solution delivery. An excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing.
