Profile An experienced CP APMP, SC cleared, Bid Manager and Bid Writer. This Associate has a proven track record of managing multi-disciplinary, geographically spread teams for technically demanding and diverse bids. They have worked for a variety of large IT, Transportation and Support Service organisations, leading and winning deliverable £multi-million bids. They have a proven track record of producing compelling proposals to clients through both written responses and face-to-face. This Associate has extensive experience in rescuing and turning around failing bids, by both controlling bid expenditure and by increasing win probabilities. They lead workshops to identify win strategies, price-to-win approaches, storyboarding of responses and efficient and accurate reviewing. Key Achievements Led a highly successful bid team winning over £130m Manufacturing deal for overseas Defence Ministry. Led bid for successful £250m+ satellite ground station system Led and subsequently account managed £30m+ bid to Public Sector Financial organisation Set up and ran new bid functions for two different organisations. Experience Over 25 years' experience in bid management and writing, leading successful bid teams in various industries including Public Sector, Financial Services, Transportation Aerospace, Defence and Space on bids up to £250m. This Associate is an APMP Certified Practitioner with an Engineering and Technical background. Shipley trained in bid management, bid writing and consultative selling techniques.
