Job Description

Our client is seeking a Senior Proposals Executive to join its well established and highly regarded global pitch team. The candidate will bring their experience, professional skill, energy, ideas and creativity to the proposals process.

The role has four main components:

1. Delivering best-in-class pitches
2. Promoting pitch best practice
3. Identifying new and innovative ways to differentiate
4. Help drive forward continuous improvement in pitching

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables

1. Delivering best-in-class pitches
• Supports the Proposal Managers across the entire pitch process and supports quality assurance
• Leads selected pitches from start to finish with coaching support from Managers
• Captures and maintains content in key proposal tools
• Works collaboratively with all stakeholders

2. Promoting pitch best practice

” Participates in pitch coaching and training and delivers selected training
• Proactively shares knowledge and best practice on pitching across the global pitch teams and with the business areas they are aligned to

3. Identifying new and innovative ways to differentiate
• Plays an active role in our projects aimed at helping us to innovate and continuously improve the firm’s approach to pitching (processes, systems, content and skills development)
• Proactively shares knowledge and best practice on pitching with colleagues and the firm

4. Help drive forward continuous improvement in pitching

” Plays an active role in selected key projects, alongside the marketing team (e.g. pitch builder software, experience management, content library development, and collaboration tools)
• Collaborates with and contributes actively to our Proposal Content, providing input and collaborating with our Proposal Content team on selected project and ongoing content management.
• Gives and seeks feedback to support own and others personal development goals.

Key requirements

” Degree educated – marketing qualifications ideal
• Marketing and business development experience in a law firm or professional services context, with an emphasis on pitching
• Experience of working in an international business environment that requires buy-in and engagement of senior management or partners, as well as working across cultures successfully
• Experience of relationship management and winning new business
• Proven track record of project management and delivering against objectives
