This Associate is an accomplished and passionate Pursuit Strategist and Coach with a demonstrable track record of strategic and operational pursuit leadership on multi-national sales opportunities. They have over 15 years' experience in business development and coach and advise on bid and sales strategy, assists teams in preparing and delivering pitches and presentations and helps senior leaders improve their impact and communication skills.
Key Achievements
Successfully managed numerous large bid submissions for sectors including Professional Services, Financial Services and Insurance, Oil and Gas, Utilities, Energy and IT. Win rate consistently >70%.
Designed and delivered a three-step training programme for one of the Big 4 member firms, resulting in the firm's operational readiness regarding their strategic pursuit activities.
Analysed an account team's sales approach resulting in the design of an improved bid process, including the implementation of a bid / no-bid decision process and increased the overall win rate to >50% whilst it also improved the motivation of the team.
Experience
Having spent the last 4+ years in one of the Big 4 pursuing major opportunities this Associate is comfortable working with a variety of stakeholders and senior leaders from a wide range of cultural backgrounds and countries.
They have extensive knowledge of workshop design and facilitation, group pitch and presentation coaching, mentoring and personal coaching. In addition, they have a proven reputation for driving systemic improvements of teams' proposal processes, delivering improved performance and to help teams come up with on-point and compelling messages.
Strong interpersonal and analytical skills are complemented by a curious mind, the ability to listen, clear communication, an eye for detail and well versed in working with virtual teams. They are bilingual (German and English).
A professional coach and a member of the ICF - International Coaching Federation, APMP certified, PRINCE2 accredited and a certified Agile Coach.
