A consistently successful Bid Manager who has won bids in the Defence, IT and Public Sector, through leadership of the bid team to deliver compelling bids, ranging from PQQs to large scale, complex acquisitions. Using initiative and creativity alongside strong problem solving capabilities, to provide business value and mitigate risks through the capture and bid delivery phases. Management of bids ranging from £100k to £270m from must win ITTs for SMEs to complex Defence acquisitions for FTSE 100 companies. Bid win rate consistently above team average. Planned and formulated the creation of bid processes, to ensure the continuity of high quality proposals. Delivery of business improvements to formulate sales strategy, develop sales skills and increase sales win rates and developed business improvements to halve the time for delivery of customer responses.

Experience


Range of experience in must win bids for organisations ranging from SMEs to FTSE100 companies. Galvanises the team and manages cross border, virtual bid teams varying in size from 7 to 70 members, coaching and mentoring in bid best practice. Using a sales background and vocational training in Huthwaite Consultative selling methods.
