Job Description

Our client, a leading domiciliary care provider is seeking a Bid / Business Development Manager to join the team in Edinburgh. The Bid / Business Development Manager will manage multiple tender opportunities and be responsible for assembling a bid team with the relevant service / product / business knowledge required to prepare a winning bid, whilst taking ownership of the end-to-end bid process. The Bid / Business Development Manager will also focus on building excellent relationships with external NHS & Public Sector partners, analysis the market and will be expected to write bespoke responses.

Core Responsibilities
” Owning the end-to-end delivery of the bid response
” Completing EOIs, PQQs, ITTs and Competitive Dialogue procedures, gaining input from cross-functional teams,
” Create key win themes across all our services and divisions working closely with other key personnel
” Write and maintain technical examples and other demonstrable evidence used for tenders working closely with other key personnel
” Maintain and support the creation of additional Company Values and Statements to support the tenders
” Daily/weekly check and update of all website tender portals
” Build excellent relationships with external NHS & Public Sector partners
” Provide Business Development support and engage with clients to increase growth of new and existing contracts.
” Market analysis, identify/report all opportunities to the Regional Director Scotland
” Manage bid tracker and update on all activities
” Coordinate bid information, deadlines and responses
” Manage projects to deadlines
” Further duties and responsibilities will develop during the role

Key Skills
” 5 years’ bid management experience in a similar role
” Preferred knowledge of the NHS, but not essential
” Experience of domiciliary care would be an advantage
” Experience of framework organisations and agreements
” Experience of online website portals
” Proven business development skills
” Can demonstrate effective bid writing skills
