Bid & Proposal Writer
Job Description
A family-owned construction company is seeking an experienced Bid & Proposals Writer to join its growing team. You will be involved in developing win themes, leading storyboarding sessions and creating winning bid responses.
Core Responsibilities:
• Attending launch, mid-bid and other required meetings
• Developing ‘win themes’ with Business Development and Bid colleagues
• Leading storyboard workshops
• Re-structuring existing proposals
• Developing high quality proposals within prescribed timescales
• Designing, writing and editing bid documents
• Maintaining a library of crafted responses, including detailed case studies
• Preparing and assisting with post tender presentations
• Preparing award submissions
• Producing pre-qualification documents
• Developing and maintaining excellent internal relationships with key subject matter experts
Required Skills / Experience:
• Experience of writing winning proposals within the construction industry
• Excellent communication skills
• Can work well within a team
