Purpose of Position:
The successful applicant will join Palladium’s Complex Delivery Solutions (CDS) team. CDS delivers end-to-end complex programme management solutions for grant and fund management programmes, and Project Management Office solutions. You will support CDS in scaling up the two portfolios through securing new UK national public sector tenders (e.g. DEFRA, BEIS, DHSC, DCMS, DWP etc).
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
” Undertake market research for the kickoff and solution meetings.
” Lead storyboard sessions with bid team members.
” Assist the Bid Manager in developing a proposal structure.
” Collaborate in developing the value proposition and articulating the win themes and solution narrative in such a way to meet / exceed the client’s requirements.
” Identify and re-work existing pre-written content where relevant
” Lead on delivering completed written proposal responses to the Bid Manager against agreed RFP/ITT deadlines, escalating issues as required.
” Contributes to the effective co-ordination and timely completion of tenders.
” Coach colleagues in writing best practice.
Strategy and Knowledge Management
” Develop and maintain information and knowledge management systems, including partnership plans, bid content, market information, competitor analysis, partner data, etc.
” Support the design, development and delivery of the portfolio’s strategy.
” Lead the portfolio administration, from tracking and reporting on internal metrics, to KPIs and targets.
” Previous success in delivering significant income growth through a variety of public sector departments (e.g. DEFRA, BEIS, DHSC, DCMS, DWP).
” Previous successful experience of writing winning tenders and associated documents with a variety of public sector departments (e.g. DEFRA, BEIS, DHSC, DCMS, DWP).
” APMP Practitioner level desirable
” Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including editing other people’s work.
” Forensic attention to detail and meticulous proof-reading skills
” The ability to think strategically, understand the big picture, prioritise, and work independently.
” A track record of building and maintaining a strong reputation with clients and partners.
” Sound problem-solving and decision-making skills.
We are a flexible employer and applicants from anywhere in the UK will be considered; although willingness to work from our Bristol or London office is considered an advantage.
