Our client, a major financial services firm, is seeking a Bid Content Executive to join their team on a 12 month fixed term contract (PAYE). The Bid Content Executive will be a key part of the bid team, working closely with the sector and service line teams, as well as the wider firm, on developing high quality content library of model answers and supporting documents to be held on the internal ‘Bid Centre’ for everyone to access.
° Ownership and project management of the overall bid centre programme, which will involve managing multiple workstreams including content creation, content owner engagement, content lifecycle management and reporting.
° Shape and define bid content best practice.
° Initiate and coordinate input from Subject Matter Experts, as well as owning and creating original content directly.
° Write new, quality, commercial bid content for our sectors and services that effectively explains and sells our services and core products to prospective buyers.
° Write bid specific content on firmwide related information to help explain the firm’s investment and position on topics such as diversity and inclusion, environmental, social, and corporate governance, health and safety, IT security and GDPR etc.
° Collate and write content on our international network capabilities to support global bids.
° Refine and update existing bid content based on current best practice and internal/external feedback.
° Be the central point of coordination of all bid content development activity.
° Help to incorporate current campaign messaging and content into relevant bids.
° Own the bid centre content so that the wider business can easily find and use the most updated bid content.
° Ensure content is up to date and accurate.
° Help to develop a CV bank for our partners and fee earners.
° Help to source and capture case studies and client testimonials for approved use in bids.
Key Skills / Experience:
° Proven experience as a Content Owner/Writer or Bid/Proposal Executive/Senior Executive managing content repositories.
° Strong written and editorial skills, able to draft quality content for the purposes of selling.
° A professional, credible and confident communicator, with strong influencing skills and the ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels.
° Research, analytical, and project management skills.
° Ability to think creatively.
° Good business acumen with the ability to quickly learn complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text, pictures and/or in digital form.
° A highly organised individual with drive and enthusiasm.
° Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
° An active team player.
