Bid Manager

Profile A highly professional, confident and capable Bid Leader, with a background in operational leadership and client account management of major outsourced asset management contracts, involving large teams, to clients in the UK Public Sector. This associate has a proven track record in complex bid management and bid portfolio management, including virtual team management. They have an excellent eye for detail, understanding of risk, a consultative approach and an incisive ability to probe proposed solutions to identify any potential areas for improvement. Key Achievements Development and introduction of process support tools to support adoption of best practice and coaching of central bid support team. Led winning bids for several major asset management contracts for UK Public Sector. Development of solutions, leadership of major work-streams, proposal writing for multiple bids. Management of global bid opportunity pipeline for a major Engineering Support Services provider business unit, including bidding best practice and corporate governance compliance. Experience Over 20 years' experience in the UK Transport Sector, this associate has managed and led various bid processes, including competitive dialogue, for contract opportunities valued at up to £100m and has managed large teams in both bid and operational service delivery contexts. Experienced and comfortable dealing with and negotiating at all levels. Their broad programme management, change management and commercial background ensure that they are well placed to provide valuable input into opportunity qualification, win strategies, partnering and commercial discussions and solution delivery.
